Poem Tribute to the game "Splinter Cell" by the company Ubi-soft. It's a game similar to Metal Gear Solid where you go sneaking around trying to avoid enemy detection. Unlike MGS tho you get the benefit of hiding in darkness. To have a pair or goggles that give you both infravision and heatvision, various gadets and guns that shoot very silently. Your mission is to save the world before dinner time.
I tried to make this with the idea of the Spinter Cell literally not existing. If no one saw the splinter cell sneak in and out of the base, did he really exist at all? Sorta along the same lines as the "tree in the forest" I guess where no one was around to hear the tree crash down (did it make a sound at all?)
So I basically wrote this with the idea that the splinter cell posesses the things that he has influence over. He symbolically becomes the things he controls since he doesn't exist to anyone on the base.
I'm sorry if this doesn't count as a poem. I put into the ode section since I felt it fit best there even tho it doesn't really have any rhymes.
Great game Btw. Check it out.
